Beginning Serger Skills: 

Haven’t had your serger out in ages?  Can’t even remember how to thread it much less use it?  Come to this class and remind yourself why sergers are so much fun!

We will be reintroducing you to your machine and practicing how to setup your machine with four common serger stitches:  rolled hem, gather, 3-thread overlock and 4-thread overlock.  We will also remind you how to start and end a seam to make sure it is secure.  And before you go home, you will make a handy serge item you will be able to use in your home. Class size is limited to 8.  I hope you will be able to join us.  (*Supply lists are available when you sign up for the class.  The kit cost is $3.)

Serge and Flip Baby Blanket

This class will show you how to make a quick blanket for the baby in your life using the Martha Pullen Pattern/technique.  It makes a great gift for a baby shower, for your own child, or your grandchild.

The supply list is available when you sign up and pay for the class.  Please register early as it is best to wash your flannel fabric before sewing the project, for best results.  Class size is limited to 8.  We hope to see you there.
